Kenneth Kristensen, PE, has extensive experience in energy conservation and efficiency projects, currently serving as Program Director at the New York Power Authority since August 2007. In various roles at NYPA, including Lead Program Engineer and Conservation Engineer, Kenneth has managed numerous projects from inception to completion in the NYC metro area, focusing on advanced technologies such as cogeneration plants, thermal storage systems, and Solar PV systems. Prior experience includes work as a Mechanical Engineer at O'Dea Lynch Abbattista Consulting Engineers, where design of mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems was a primary responsibility, and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at CIMA Group, specializing in mechanical systems for varied building types. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College, earned in 2000.
