Zachary Hanson

Zachary Hanson is a seasoned professional in project finance and mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Senior Director of M&A and Structuring at the New York Power Authority since May 2025. Previously, Zachary held positions at Rabobank from November 2020 to April 2025, progressing from Analyst to Vice President of Project Finance, where involvement included deal structuring, due diligence, and portfolio management in renewable energy finance. Prior experience also includes roles as an Infrastructure Analyst at InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd, a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, and various internships focused on renewable energy finance and impact investing. Zachary holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
