Ram Sankar has extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as an Assistant Manager - Finance at JTS Technology Limited. In 1999, they briefly served as a Business Consultant at PKF SRIDHAR & SANTHANAM. Following this, they joined ICICI Bank in 1999 and held various positions, including Assistant Manager - Retail Asset Operations, Chief Manager - Card Issuing Operations, Head - Chargebacks & Merchant Acquiring Operations, and Assistant General Manager. In 2006, they transitioned to ICICI International Limited as CFO & Head - Operations before moving to ICICI Securities in 2008 as VP-Finance. In 2010, Ram joined 3i Infotech Inc as Financial Controller and later became their Senior Vice President & CFO. In 2021, they became the Global CFO at Microexcel Inc and then took on the role of SVP Delivery and Operations - Global Digital Transformation at New Era Technology in 2024.
Ram Sankar earned a BCOM degree in Commerce from Bharathidasan University from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended Hindu Senior Secondary School from 1983 to 1991, specializing in Business/Commerce. Ram then pursued accounting studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, earning an ACA degree from 1994 to 1997.
