Beth Wood

Beth Wood is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at Newfields since January 2023. Previously, Beth held various roles at The Alan Turing Institute, including Senior Media Relations Manager and Press and Communications Manager, from December 2017 to January 2023. Prior experience includes positions as Media and Communications Manager at New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) and Communications Manager at The Brookings Institution, where responsibilities encompassed managing strategic communications and serving as Managing Editor for the Chalkboard Blog. Additional experience includes roles at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, and several internships focused on media and communications. Beth holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston University.
