Dawn Bontempo

Dawn Bontempo has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Dawn began their career as a National Account Sales Engineer at Ruud Lighting, Inc. and then worked as a Project Design Specialist at SPI Lighting. Dawn then moved on to Everbrite, LLC, where they served as an Account Manager, managing open orders and developing new business for McDonald's. Dawn also worked at Adecco Group as an Administrative Assistant, providing on-site support at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. Dawn later joined SC Johnson as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Global Public Affairs and Communication, where they handled administrative tasks and calendar management.

After their time at SC Johnson, Dawn took on various roles in the quality assurance field. Dawn worked at GE Healthcare as an Advanced Technician, monitoring production and supervising quality initiatives. Dawn then joined E.C. Styberg Engineering Inc as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, overseeing quality programs and personnel. Dawn later joined QuickCable Corporation as a Quality & EHS Engineer, maintaining ISO certifications and serving as the company's ISO Management Representative. Their most recent role was at New Flyer Industries, where they worked as a Quality Manager and then as the Director of Quality Assurance, overseeing multiple plants and establishing quality standards.

Throughout their career, Dawn has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Dawn Bontempo has a diverse education history. Dawn obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management with a concentration in Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2021. In 2016, they received a Master Supervisory Certificate from RAMAC (Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce). Dawn also holds multiple certifications from the ASQ (American Society for Quality), including CMQ/OE - Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, CQE - Certified Quality Engineer, CQA - Certified Quality Auditor, CQT - Certified Quality Technician, CQPA - Certified Quality Process Analyst, and CQIA - Certified Quality Improvement Associate. In 1995, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Computer Aided Design Technology from ITT Technical Institute-Greenfield. Additionally, they have completed a 30-hour General Industry Safety & Health course from OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) in 2016. Dawn has also obtained certifications in Essentials of Human Resources from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and 30-Hour General Industry from the US Department of Labor OSHA.
