Ghada Mahmassani

Ghada Mahmassani, CPA, CGMA, currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President at Newmark since June 2023. Prior to this role, Ghada held various positions at Compass from April 2019 to June 2023, including Vice President and Corporate Controller. Ghada also served as Global Controller at Avenues: The World School from May 2017 to April 2019. Over an extensive career at Cushman & Wakefield from February 2009 to May 2017, Ghada progressed through several key roles including Controller of the Americas and Managing Director of Global Technical Accounting Policy. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in Transaction Services at PwC from 2000 to 2008. Ghada holds multiple certifications, including an IFRS Certificate from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, and has academic credentials in Business Administration and Accounting from American University of Beirut and New York University.
