Alex Shehabi

Alex Shehabi has extensive experience in IT compliance, identity management, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the IT Compliance & Identity Management Senior Manager at Newmont Corporation since April 2017, Alex has also held roles as Global Technology Audit Manager and Global IT Audit Supervisor within the company. Previously, Alex worked at EY from August 2011 to September 2016 as a National Advisory Senior, focusing on risk management and cybersecurity consulting, and as an Advisory Staff, gaining professional experience primarily in information security and IT auditing. Earlier career experiences include accounting co-op and internship positions at Stryker, where Alex supported financial operations for significant divisions. Alex holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Managerial Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.
