Jiaai Liang has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2013, they started as an intern at The Australian National University, followed by a role as a tutor from 2015 to 2018. They then joined Seeing Machines as a data annotator from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to MicroStrategy as a software engineer in test until 2019. They joined San Jose State University in 2020 as an instructional student assistant until 2021. In the same year, they worked as a software QA cloud intern at Sleep Number LABS. Currently, Jiaai holds the position of a software engineer at NewsBreak, first starting as a software engineer from November 2021 to April 2023, and then transitioning to a senior software engineer role from May 2023 onwards.
Jiaai Liang completed a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from San Jose State University in 2020-2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Engineering from The Australian National University. Jiaai also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics from The Australian National University and another BE degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Beijing Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Jiaai has acquired various certifications including Java 8 Essential Training, Postman Essential Training, Robot Framework Test Automation: Level 1 (Selenium), HTML Essential Training, Python Automation and Testing, AI & Data Engineering from LaiOffer, and Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals.
