Tianpei Xia's work experience includes being a Software Engineer at NewsBreak since 2022. They were also a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from 2018 to 2021, where they developed a hyperparameter optimization framework called OIL and integrated evolutionary algorithms for software analytic tasks. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their current position, Tianpei Xia was a Software Engineer Intern at NewsBreak in 2021, where they designed and implemented geo-information mapping and doc indexing services for local sports news recommendation systems.
