Yiwei Li

Yiwei Li has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at Amazon in 2013 as a Software Developer, where they worked on developing a pre-ordering system for digital content. Yiwei then joined Carnegie Mellon University in 2012 as a Master's student in the Biotechnology Innovation & Computation Program, where they learned to apply Computer Science techniques to solve bio-related problems. In 2014, Yiwei joined Yahoo as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked until 2015. After that, they joined News Break in 2015 as a Software Architect, focusing on reinventing the way news is made and distributed. In 2016, they became the Head of Growth at News Break, where they built a growth strategy for their flagship app and achieved audience acquisition at a competitive cost. From 2018 to 2021, Yiwei served as the Director of Product at News Break and was responsible for leading the product management, strategy, and execution of the product team. Currently, Yiwei holds the position of Head of Growth at News Break, specializing in developing growth strategies and constantly improving the app's performance.

Yiwei Li pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Yiwei Li attended Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
