Juraj Sipos

Juraj Sipos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Juraj is currently the Head of Engineering at NewStore, Inc., a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Juraj was a Staff Engineer at the same company from March 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining NewStore, Inc., Juraj worked as an IT consultant and owner at EMEEX, starting in 2007. During this time, they contributed to contract application development for various clients and was involved in creating an information system for the European Union Contest for Young Scientists.

From 2018 to 2019, Juraj served as the Tech lead of the Moonshot team at iflix. In this role, they played a leadership role in technology development.

In 2017, Juraj worked as a Tech Lead at Ferratum Group, where they led the development and architecture of a new web lending platform using various technologies.

From 2011 to 2016, Juraj was a Software Engineer at ESET, where they focused on UI development and architecture for ESET security products. Juraj also developed a UI library used for visualization and configuration.

Juraj was also a co-founder and Software Engineer at SmartGecko POS, a startup focused on developing a cloud point-of-sale business platform. Juraj contributed to the development and architecture of a POS app for Android devices.

Prior to these experiences, Juraj worked as a freelance Software Engineer at Digital-X, where they developed eCommerce websites and custom online ordering systems, as well as interactive e-learning modules.

Overall, Juraj Sipos has demonstrated their expertise in engineering, technology leadership, and development across various industries and projects.

Juraj Sipos began their education journey in 2003 at Masaryk University Brno, where they pursued a field of study in Applied Informatics. Juraj attended this institution until 2004. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they enrolled at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. Although they did not obtain a degree during this period, their focus of study remained in Informatics.
