Paddy Doyle has worked in the software development industry since 2009. Paddy began their career as a student at the Institute of Technology Carlow. In 2011, they took a role as a software developer at Dark Arts Development, a company set up for the purpose of general software and games development. Paddy then worked as a software developer at Blackdog Communications in 2012, followed by a position as a software developer at Unum from 2013 to 2017. Most recently, they have been a software engineer at NewsWhip since 2017.

Paddy Doyle attended the Technological University Dublin from 2006 to 2009, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. Paddy then went on to the Institute of Technology, Carlow, where they completed a BSc. (Honours) Computer Games Development in 2013. In addition to their educational qualifications, Paddy Doyle holds a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in November 2013, and a LOMA 291 certification from LOMA, obtained in October 2013.
