James Thompson has over 18 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. James began their career in 2003 at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, where they held multiple financial and operational roles. In 2008, they joined Cigna as a Business Development Manager, Consumer Health Engagement and later moved to the role of Operations Manager, Consumer Health Engagement. In 2014, they joined Optum as the Director of IT Service Delivery and later assumed the role of Director of SaaS Implementation. In 2022, they joined Nexben as the Director of Platform Operations. Throughout their career, they have spearheaded business development activities, managed strategic operations, and led technology workstreams for large initiatives. James has also created strategies to implement IT service offerings, developed customer self-service initiatives, and streamlined existing and future implementations.
