Kieran Bain is a Principal Structural Designer at Global E&C, overseeing the Forties Delivery Focal Point on the Apache contract since March 2022. Previously, Kieran served as the Lead Structural Designer at PD&MS Group from October 2017 to March 2022, leading design efforts on significant projects such as the Beryl Bravo South Crane replacement and the Beryl Alpha Train B upgrade. Kieran’s earlier roles included Senior Structural Designer and Structural Designer positions at PD&MS Group and Step Change Engineering Limited, where responsibilities encompassed detailed design drawings and offshore surveying. Kieran began career development as a Trainee Structural Designer at PD&MS Energy and has since acquired a Mechanical Engineering certificate from North East Scotland College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree at The Open University.
