Mircea Turcu has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Mircea started their career as a System Administrator and Software Developer at Radio Vest from 1997 to 2000. In 2001, they joined TradeLabs Inc as a Software Developer, where they developed a rapid application development mechanism for .NET web applications.
In 2005, Turcu joined Nexsan as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed core services and implemented the Object Request Broker service for the Assureon System. Mircea then moved up to the role of Technical Leader, managing a team and working on the design and architecture of the Assureon product. Mircea later became the Software Development Manager, responsible for managing the Assureon development team and overseeing all aspects of development. In 2016, Turcu was promoted to Director of Engineering and then to VP of Engineering in 2018, where they held senior leadership positions overseeing engineering operations.
Mircea Turcu began their education in 1995 at the West University of Timisoara, where they studied Computer Science. Mircea transferred to the same university the following year and continued their studies until 1999. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
