Alexandre Borowczyk is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in drone technology and software solutions. Currently serving as CTO and Co-Founder at Shearwater Aerospace since June 2019, Alexandre leads the development of innovative flight technologies that enhance drone performance. In addition, participation in the Next AI Montreal 2021 cohort highlights Alexandre's commitment to artificial intelligence and technology commercialization. Alexandre's entrepreneurial spirit is evident through previous roles, including Founder of Dronotics Solutions at DAC Aviation International, where efforts focused on making UAV technology accessible to humanitarian organizations. Earlier experience includes positions as Systems Software Specialist at CAE, Co-Founder of Projet Orange, and Co-Founder of B-Cubic, along with a strong academic background in Aerospace and Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
