Lauren Lake is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Bridgit, where the focus is on enhancing profits in the construction industry through a people-first approach and actionable workforce intelligence. Lauren serves on the Board of Directors for Communitech, an organization dedicated to supporting technology companies in Waterloo Region. Participation in the 2014 cohort of the Creative Destruction Lab at Rotman provided exposure to innovative business practices, while the 2013 cohort experience with The Next 36 offered mentorship and development for young entrepreneurs. Earlier experience includes an internship at Vector Construction Group, where hands-on work in concrete restoration and project management was conducted.
