Carmen Coertzen

Carmen Coertzen has diverse work experience in various scientific and educational roles. In 2023, they worked as a Genetic Sales Consultant at Next Biosciences. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they were an Educational Products Consultant at Experilab. Carmen also served as a Tutor/Senior Demi at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, starting in 2020 until 2023. Their responsibilities included assisting students, marking exams, and administrative tasks. Additionally, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Pathcare Diagnostic Lab from November 2020 to February 2021, conducting Covid-19 testing.

Carmen Coertzen's education history is as follows:

Carmen Coertzen started their education at Waterkloof Highschool in 2016, where they completed their Matric.

From 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry.

In 2020, Carmen pursued further studies at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and completed a BSc Honours degree in Genetics.

Currently, Carmen is a student at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Genetics since 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Carmen has also obtained certification in Machine Learning for Data Science and Analytics from edX, with an obtained date of April 2022.
