Aleksei Zolotarev currently serves as the CEO and Founder of Next Step Fusion since June 2023. Prior to this role, Aleksei was the Chief Executive Officer of Investment Solutions LLC from January 2020 to June 2023, overseeing an investment company that successfully completed over 200 real estate deals across 10 regions in Russia and the Philippines. Aleksei's experience also includes holding the position of Vice President for land assets at PIK Group from December 2014 to January 2020 and serving as Deputy Head of the Analytics Department during that tenure. Earlier, Aleksei was the CEO of the Competition of Innovative Projects "Technocup" from June 2009 to May 2012, focusing on project management and fundraising, and also held a role as PR Director, handling events, public relations, and media.

Next Step Fusion
At Next Step Fusion, we believe that recent and upcoming scientific and technological advancements will soon give rise to the fusion power plant industry, providing humanity with safe and affordable energy. As plasma confinement and control appear to be the most sophisticated and challenging problems, we pursue the opportunity to apply Machine Learning (ML) to plasma simulation and control for tokamaks and future fusion reactors, as well as other relevant tasks such as monitoring and analysis, disruption predictions, maintenance planning, personnel training, and more. As a result, our plans include but are not limited to, developing simulation software, control systems, and digital twins for existing tokamaks, future fusion reactors and power plants.
