Clay Hunt is an accomplished purchasing professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Purchasing Manager and Commodity Manager at Nexteer Automotive since March 2023, Clay previously held roles at Lear Corporation from October 2018 to March 2023, including Advanced Purchasing Manager - Electronics and Senior Commodity Buyer. Prior experience includes Project Buyer at Autoliv, Material Planner at Jabil, and Indirect Purchasing Coop at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, where key achievements included projecting a $22 million tooling budget and implementing a tracking system for capital tooling. Clay holds an M.B.A. in Global Supply Chain Management & Finance from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University.
