Brian Tobin

Brian Tobin, CFA, currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Chief Investment Officer at NextEra Energy, Inc., a role held since September 2021. Prior to this position, Brian Tobin was with NextEra Energy Resources from November 1998 to September 2021, where responsibilities included serving as Vice President of Development for Energy Storage Technology and Vice President of Business Management. Earlier in their career, Brian Tobin worked at GE as a Nuclear Plant Shift Superintendent from December 1986 to October 1998. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lally School of Management (1992-1994) and a BS in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy (1982-1986).
