Michael Debock

Michael DeBock serves as Vice President and Head of Sales at NextEra Energy, Inc., where responsibilities include leading the decarbonization journey for both power and non-power sectors. Previous roles at NextEra include Vice President of Energy Marketing and Trading for Florida Power & Light Company, and leadership positions in business development, digital transformation, and integration of acquired utilities. Prior to their current tenure, Michael DeBock was Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, guiding policy strategy and operations. Michael DeBock's early career included significant roles in business development across various energy sectors and an Aviation Captain position in the US Army. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, and completion of executive education at Columbia Business School.
