Tom Cooper has had an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles in the technology industry. Tom started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 1979, where they worked as a Market Development Manager until 1988. Tom then joined Network Equipment Technologies as the VP Distribution from 1991 to 1994. Following that, they worked at Virata from 1994 to 2002, initially as the SVP Corporate Development and later as the SVP WW Sales & Marketing. At Rim Semiconductor, they served as President & CEO for the duration of 2002. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Artimi as the SVP WW Sales & Marketing. In 2008, they joined Staccato Communications as the VP WW Sales until their merger with Artimi. Consequently, they took on the role of VP WW Sales at the merged entity until the end of the year. Currently, they are employed at Cel-Fi by Nextivity as the VP Sales and Support Oceania / APAC, a position they have held since July 2019. Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, marketing, and corporate development across multiple regions and markets.

Tom Cooper attended Hamilton College from 1967 to 1971, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Tom then went on to study at The University of Toledo from 1980 to 1986, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing. In 2017, they obtained a certificate in Continuing Board Education from The ExecRanks.
