Solal Amouyal

Solal Amouyal is a System Performance SW Team Lead at NextSilicon since November 2021. Prior to this role, Solal served as HPC Group Manager, HPC Team Leader, and HPC Application Engineer at Toga Networks, focusing on the profiling of diverse HPC applications including CFD and molecular dynamics. Solal completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where notable achievements included the development of a high-fidelity low-Mach number solver for turbulent reacting flows and the design of a novel algorithm for combustion simulations. Additionally, Solal interned at CERFACS, contributing to a master's thesis on the numerical simulation of rotor-stator systems. Educational background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA.
