Jay Gardner

Jay Gardner is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the bus industry. Currently serving as the Technical Lead and Engineering Lead Bus Specialist at NFI Group Inc. since August 2025, Jay previously held the role of Engineering Lead Bus Specialist at New Flyer from November 2021 to August 2025. Jay's career began as an Electrical Technician CAD at New Flyer of America from July 2015 to November 2021, and includes experience as a Service Tech at McCord Communications in early 2014 and as a Level 1 Electrical Tech at North American Bus Industries from 2008 to 2013. Jay's educational background includes studies at Gadsden State Community College.
