Mike Lopez

Mike Lopez has extensive experience in data and analytics, currently serving as Sr Director of Data and Analytics at the National Football League (NFL) since August 2018, after previously holding the position of Director in the same department. Prior to this role, Mike worked at Skidmore College from August 2014 to June 2021 as a Lecturer and Research Associate, as well as an Assistant Professor. Mike began academic pursuits as a PhD student in Biostatistics at Brown University from August 2010 to August 2014, following a teaching role at Framingham Public Schools from January 2005 to August 2008. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Associate at Market Insight from 2004 to 2007. Mike holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Brown University, an MS in Statistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a BS in Mathematics from Bates College.
