Michael Mi

Michael Mi is a seasoned professional in the investment and finance sector, currently serving as Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Head of Portfolio Construction and Quantitative Research at NGS Super since November 2017. With a rich background in quantitative analysis, Michael has held positions including Senior Quantitative Analyst and Manager in the same department. Additionally, Michael contributes as a Casual Academic at the University of Sydney since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an APX OTC Intern at AIMS Financial Group, Fixed Income Trader Trainee at BOC International, and Forex and Derivatives Trader Trainee at PhillipCapital Australia. Michael is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Finance, Asset Pricing at the University of Sydney, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Finance from the same institution and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shanghai University.
