Neil MacDonald

Neil Macdonald is a highly experienced technical specialist in the heating and hot water sector, currently serving as Principal Technical Specialist at NHBC since October 2022 and Technical Manager at The Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) since July 2015. In this role, Neil reviews and interprets complex technical and legal documentation, actively contributing to European committees focused on safety and regulatory standards. Previously, Neil worked at British Gas from October 2004 to July 2015, where responsibilities spanned Safety Assurance Engineer, Learning and Development Manager, and Technical Engineer roles, culminating in significant expertise in gas installation, service practice, and training initiatives aimed at enhancing engineering competencies.
