Anne Margrethe Lund has an extensive background in politics and international relations. Anne Margrethe currently holds the position of Director in the Brussels office of NHO, overseeing the EU office for the Confederation of Norwegian enterprise. Prior to this, Anne Margrethe served as a Senior Adviser at EFTA and held various positions in different organizations such as Europeisk Ungdom and Oslo Children and Youth Council. Anne has completed their Master's Degree in International Politics with a focus on globalisation, poverty, and development from Newcastle University. Anne Margrethe also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Geography and Political Science from the University of Oslo.

The NHO - Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise - is the main representative body for Norwegian employers with a current membership of 22.000 companies ranging from small family-owned businesses to multinational companies. In addition to the central organization in Oslo, which has cross sectoral responsibility for members` interests, members also belong to one of 21 nationwide sectoral federations and one of 15 regional associations. The sectoral associations protect branch-related interests with the regional associations offering a local point of contact between companies and authorities.
