Gunnar Nilssen is currently the Seniorrådgiver reiseliv at NHO Arktis and also holds a position as seniorrådgiver in the political avdeling at NHO Reiseliv. Prior to this, Gunnar served as the Daglig leder at Reiseliv i Nord AS and has held various leadership roles in different organizations such as TromsøRomsa 2018 AS and Finnmarksløpet AS. With a background in journalism, strategic board management, and economics, Gunnar has a strong educational foundation to support their extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality industry.
NHO
The NHO - Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise - is the main representative body for Norwegian employers with a current membership of 22.000 companies ranging from small family-owned businesses to multinational companies. In addition to the central organization in Oslo, which has cross sectoral responsibility for members` interests, members also belong to one of 21 nationwide sectoral federations and one of 15 regional associations. The sectoral associations protect branch-related interests with the regional associations offering a local point of contact between companies and authorities.
