Hazel Garven (nee Barclay) has been the EHSCP Lead Pharmacist in Primary Care at NHS Lothian since October 2010, focusing on promoting cost-effective and quality prescribing across practices in Lothian. In addition to this role, Hazel has maintained a self-employed position as a locum pharmacist, providing patient advice, managing care records, and performing dispensing tasks. Between August 2012 and July 2015, Hazel served as the East Lothian community pharmacy champion, aiding local pharmacists in adapting to new contractual requirements.
