Ksenia Ellum

Ksenia Ellum is a Doctor at NHS since August 2024, following an internship at Paloma Health in June 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Healthtech and Innovation Fellow at BiteLabs, with a focus on synthetic biology and NHS ecosystem navigation from January 2023 to August 2024, and as a Venture Capital Fellow at King's Angel Network from December 2021 to February 2023. Ksenia has also held a Consulting Summer Internship at Newton Europe and a Start-up Internship at MediSieve. Research work includes a position at Imperial College London, investigating the clinical utility of cell-free DNA for Hepatocellular Carcinoma management, and research in vascular pharmacology at William Harvey Research Institute. Ksenia holds a Medical Doctor degree from King's College London, an MRes in Clinical Research from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Queen Mary University of London. Proficient in various lab techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, qRT-PCR, and ELISA, with analytical skills in Excel, GraphPad Prism, and R-studio.
