Jannat Shazadi is an experienced professional currently involved with Pardesi as a member, while also serving as a teacher at NIA Community Services Network and as a member of Muslim Women Professionals (MWP). Jannat has been a secretary at family-owned business Z & M since 2017, demonstrating skills in communication and contract preparation. Previous roles include interning for Congresswoman Yvette Diane Clarke at the U.S. House of Representatives, participating in research at the City University of New York-Brooklyn College, and gaining insights into healthcare through shadowing at Lenox Hill Hospital and working as a medical scribe with ScribeAmerica. Jannat was actively engaged in discussions on societal issues in the Women For Women Bookclub at Crowell & Moring LLP. Currently pursuing a degree at Brooklyn College, Jannat graduated from Urban Assembly School for Criminal Justice with a high school diploma in 2020.
