Bo Li

Group Leader - Image Analysis And Remote Sensing at NIAB

Bo Li is a computer vision expert and senior software engineer for image analysis at Syngenta since July 2021. Bo has been a lecturer at the University of the West of England since November 2019, focusing on machine vision and plant phenotyping. In addition, Bo has served as the group leader for image analysis and remote sensing at NIAB EMR since June 2014, where projects involve hyperspectral imaging and multivariate statistics to visualize plant infections. Prior experience includes a research associate role at Teesside University, concentrating on hyperspectral imaging and machine learning in forensic scenarios. Bo holds a PhD in hyperspectral imaging from Teesside University and an MSc in digital signal and image processing from Cranfield University.
