Laura Tang

Laura Tang is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Niantic, Inc., since March 2022, Laura previously contributed as a Software Engineer at Lyft and Niantic, working on payments and location-based augmented reality projects, respectively. Prior experience includes roles at Amazon, where Laura was involved with the Alexa App platform, and an internship at Google focusing on mobile speech integrations. Laura's early career includes teaching assistance and intern positions at Columbia University and Comcast, contributing to projects related to endangered languages and video-on-demand services. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, obtained in June 2017.
