Marcus Hammons

Marcus Hammons is a seasoned software development engineer in test with extensive experience in quality assurance and engineering leadership, currently serving as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test and Staff QA Engineering Lead at Niantic, Inc. since April 2019. Prior roles include Senior SDET at Thomson Reuters, where contributions were made to the Serengeti Tracker, and various positions at Microsoft from 1999 to 2014, involving software testing, automation, and collaboration with development teams. Marcus began the career in software testing and engineering with internships and co-op positions at Motorola, developing foundational skills that have fueled a successful trajectory in quality assurance.
