Mark Van Lommel is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for Games and Influencer Relations at Niantic, Inc., Mark plays a vital role in promoting the company’s augmented reality platform and successful titles like Pokémon GO. Prior experiences include positions as Senior PR Manager for the Overwatch League at Blizzard Entertainment, and Sr. Director of Brand Marketing and Communications at PMK•BNC, where Mark supported the launch of multiple Call of Duty titles. Additional roles span across various agencies and brands, including PR Manager at Nexon, Account Supervisor at Edelman for Microsoft Game Studios, and involvement with Nintendo of America. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Southern California.
