Laurel Anne Klockenkemper is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in project management and writing. Currently serving as a Senior Project Specialist for Communications at National Industries for the Blind since April 2024, Laurel previously held the position of Associate Director of Advancement Communications and Senior Writer/Editor at The Catholic University of America from May 2018 to April 2024. Laurel's robust background also includes over a decade at Sun Coast Media Group, where editorial roles encompassed Editor and Staff Writer of the West Villages Sun newspaper and various responsibilities at the North Port Sun. Additional freelance experience includes storytelling and photography for The Florida Catholic. Laurel holds a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Florida State University.
