Dr. Tripathi is the President of the University of Buffalo. He has rich experience in academics and research including – Professor of Computer Science at University of Maryland, Dean of the Bourns College of Engineering at University of California, Riverside, and Provost at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Tripathi has been involved in substantial funded research and published more than 200 scholarly papers, supervised doctoral students. He has served on program committees of numerous international conferences. He also signed MoU with former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to establish Indo- University Collaborative Initiative in Higher Education and Research.
