Michael has also contributed to the development of standards as a member of the standard committee for the Netherlands Standards Institute (NEN) and has held various legal roles focusing on European product legislation and IP law, including positions as an attorney-at-law and chairman of the Dutch Association of CE Consultants (NVCE).
