Risa Dixon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical design and product development within the sports apparel industry, primarily at Nike since October 2005. As Lead Technical Designer, Risa focuses on creating patterns using advanced 3-D software and Optitex to enhance garment fitting across various sports categories, including custom uniforms and sideline/training products for men, women, and youth. Risa has held multiple progressive roles at Nike, including Technical Designer II and Technical Developer II for Nike Global Football, contributing to on-field uniform styles and fanwear. Prior to Nike, Risa served as Project Manager/Assistant at Intrinsic Design and Sales and Shipping Manager at Diana Slavin Womenswear, with initial experience as Buyer and Store Manager at Design Products Clothing. Risa holds an MBA from the University of Portland and a B.A. from the University of Washington, along with ongoing postgraduate education in Fashion/Apparel Design at the Portland Fashion Institute.
