Lance Hagenbuch has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Lance is currently serving as a Project Director at Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Lance worked at Kairos Power as Senior Director of Engineering from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for expanding the R&D Center and starting the Engineering Program Management Office.
Before their time at Kairos Power, Lance held senior positions at SolarReserve, including Vice President of Engineering & Technology from 2018 to 2019 and Director of Program Management from 2008 to 2018. Lance led unmanned aerial systems development programs, managed technology licensing deals, and contributed to the development of new product opportunities in the energy market.
Prior to their time at Boeing, Lance worked as a Business Analyst at Owens Illinois and served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant and Naval Flight Officer. In the Navy, they were recognized for their leadership and received awards for their exemplary performance during combat missions.

Lance Hagenbuch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1987. Lance then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School between 1992 and 1994.
