Gavin Clark

Gavin Clark is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Engineer for the TRE BEV platform at Nikola Motor Company since September 2019. Previously, Gavin held various roles at General Motors, including Noise and Vibration Development Engineer and Lead Durability Test Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed vehicle testing and development for multiple Cadillac models. Gavin played a key role in establishing the studio engineering department at Nikola and has contributed to a wide range of vehicles such as the NZT, WAV, and Nikola Garbage truck. Earlier experience includes work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where research focused on battery thermal management, and as a Prototype Engineer at Chrysler Group LLC. Gavin holds both a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.
