Sam O'Leary has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sam started their career in 2007 at Score Group plc, where they served as the IGT Component Reconditioning & Aftermarket Manufacturing / Business GM until 2013. Sam then joined GE Power and held various roles, including Critical Technology Manager, Digital Steam Power Plant - Plant Integration Leader, and Supply Chain Strategy Leader, as part of the Accelerated Leadership Program. In 2018, Sam joined GE Additive as the Product Management Leader and later became the Director of Product Management, responsible for the strategic direction and commercialization of GE Additive's Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) product portfolio. In 2020, they also took on a role at ASME as part of the Executive Committee for the Gas Turbine Segment, Production & Maintenance Engineering. Currently, Sam serves as the Chief Operating Officer of SLM Solutions, and from January 2021, they will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer.
Sam O'Leary completed a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science & Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University in 2007. In 2013, they earned a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD). More recently, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management, where they studied Technical Leadership until 2015.
