Michael Stojanoff has a strong background in geotechnical engineering and management. Michael is currently working as the Chief Geotechnical Engineer at Ninyo since January 2020. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2020, they were the Geotechnical Department Manager at Terracon. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Engineering Division Manager at Cardno, where they were responsible for managing geotechnical engineering and construction quality assurance services. Before that, from 2011 to 2013, Michael worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Tetra Tech, providing geotechnical design and construction quality assurance services. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Cardno ATC as a Senior Engineer, overseeing engineering and construction materials testing activities. Additionally, they worked as a Part-Time Instructor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas from 2007 to 2010. Michael started their career as a Project Engineer at Geotechnical & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) from 2002 to 2007, where they managed geotechnical projects and focused on public works sector liaising and marketing efforts.
Michael Stojanoff completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 1994. Michael then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 1996.
