Alain Dargelas

Alain Dargelas, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Niobium Microsystems, overseeing the Silicon Enablement Software stack for FHE accelerators since March 2025. Prior to this role, Alain was a Founding Engineer at Silimate, contributing to open-source synthesis and timing power analysis, and held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at RapidSilicon, focusing on open-source and FPGA technologies. Alain's extensive experience includes managerial positions at Intel Corporation, Altera, and various roles at Synopsys, where responsibilities ranged from managing synthesis teams to developing verification tools. Alain holds a Ph.D. in Microelectronics and multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, demonstrating a strong academic background complemented by significant industry leadership.
