NIRAS
Claus Birkholm has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Claus worked as a CIO and VP at NIRAS from 2017 to present, where they focused on driving digital initiatives and improving user satisfaction. Prior to NIRAS, Claus was the CIO at ALECTIA from 2015 to 2017, where they transformed IT operations into a balanced development and operations function. Claus also held various IT roles at GN ReSound, including Director of IT Service Development and Director of IT Applications Development, from 2007 to 2013. Claus has a background as a project manager and consultant, working at Intentia Danmark A/S, Lindhard A/S, Baan, and EY in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Claus Birkholm attended Aarhus University from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Cand.merc degree (MSc in Business Administration) with a focus on Logistics and Accounting. Additionally, they have obtained additional certifications, including a Board Certificate from Board Company Danmark in 2021 and an IT Executive Masterclass from IDG Kurser in 2018.
