Ismael Muhammad Nieves

Ismael Muhammad Nieves has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Real Time Asset Optimization at NiSource since January 2005, where responsibilities include real-time dispatching of generating units and industrial load management within the Energy Supply & Trading Department of NIPSCO. Previously held positions include Generation System Supervision, NERC Certified, and Operations Supervisor, overseeing operations of multiple generating units. Additionally, Ismael volunteered at Purdue University Calumet to assist with mock interviews and resume reviews. An internship at the MWRD provided early exposure to electrical engineering operations. Ismael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University Northwest, obtained in 2004.
