Karsten Nielsen began their career in 2000 as a Quality Coordinator at BROEN A/S, where they worked until 2004. Karsten then joined Nassau Door A/S as a Quality Manager from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they joined Danfoss and held various positions including Director of Quality & External Environment, Project Director, Director of Production - Bellows, Head of HX Global Supply Chain, and VP, Head of Heat Exchangers. Their responsibilities at Danfoss included handling product recalls, improving customer experience and product quality, enforcing quality assurance policies, and leading global teams. Most recently, in 2022, Karsten Nielsen became the Chief Operating Officer at Nissens Cooling Solutions.
Karsten Nielsen's education history includes a Danfoss Leadership Development Programme in Innovation in the Age of Disruption from INSEAD, which they are currently pursuing since 2020. Karsten also holds a Mini MBA from Probana Business School, completed in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a merkonom degree in Management & Organisation from VBC Vejen Business College in the years 1998-2000. Additionally, Karsten holds a Higher National Diploma in Mech. Eng. from Teknisk akademi syd, completed between 1995-1997. Karsten has also obtained certifications such as "Danfoss Module 3 - Organisational Culture" and "Danfoss Leadership Development Programme" from INSEAD in 2020.
