Timothy Lex is an accomplished chemist with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Clemson University and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Saint Joseph's University. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at NJ Bio since June 2022, Timothy has previously contributed to the FDA as an ORISE Fellow from November 2019 to June 2022. Research at Clemson University focused on synthesizing novel organic compounds for synthetic and medical applications, while a Medicinal Chemistry Co-op at GlaxoSmithKline involved optimizing therapeutic targets for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Early research included analyzing water and sediment samples for metal pollution at Saint Joseph's University.
